Position : Endpoint Management Engineer II

Location : Manapakkam, Chennai, IND-TN

Job Purpose :

As an Endpoint Management Engineer II, you will provide technical support and expertise for our endpoint management tool, focusing on device management, application deployment, and security configurations. You will work closely with Level 1 support technicians, as well as other IT teams and stakeholders, to troubleshoot complex issues, implement solutions, and optimize the endpoint environment.

Essential Functions :

  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for our endpoint management tool, including troubleshooting issues related to device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, and security features.

  • Problem Resolution : Analyze and resolve escalated incidents and service requests related to our endpoint management tool, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.

  • Configuration and Optimization : Configure and optimize tool policies, profiles, and settings to meet the organization's security and compliance requirements, as well as to enhance user productivity and experience.

  • Documentation: Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for deployment and management, contributing to the knowledge base and training materials for Level 1 support technicians and end-users.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, such as system administrators, network engineers, and security specialists, to integrate our endpoint management tool with existing infrastructure and systems, and to ensure seamless operation and compatibility.

  • Training and Knowledge Sharing : Provide training and mentorship to Level 1 support technicians and end-users on our endpoint management tool features, capabilities, and best practices, empowering them to effectively utilize and manage tool-managed devices and applications.

  • Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about the latest endpoint management tool updates, features, and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the endpoint environment and streamline management processes.

Education:

Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Experience:

  • 3-6 years of professional experience

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles with a focus on endpoint management tools preferred.

  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting endpoint management policies, profiles, and settings for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

  • Strong understanding of mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), and conditional access policies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment :

The work is performed remotely or in an office environment.
