Position : O365 Architect

Location : Manapakkam, Chennai, IND-TN

Job Purpose :

The O365 Architect's purpose is to design and implement innovative and effective solutions leveraging the Microsoft Office 365 suite. By aligning business requirements with the capabilities of O365, you play a pivotal role in transforming and enhancing the digital landscape of organizations. Your responsibilities encompass crafting robust architectures, ensuring seamless collaboration, fortifying security measures, and driving the successful adoption of O365 services. Through your expertise in cloud-based productivity tools, you contribute to the organization's strategic goals, fostering a modern, efficient, and secure digital workplace.

Essential Functions :

  • O365 Platform Expertise : Have experience and expertise in the O365 competencies including.

  • Exchange (Hybrid)

  • SharePoint (Hybrid)

  • Teams

  • OneDrive

  • Intune

  • PowerApps

  • Azure AAD

  • Requirements Analysis : Gather and analyze business requirements to understand the organization's needs.

  • Solution Design : Design comprehensive O365 solutions that align with business objectives and Create architecture diagrams and documentation.

  • O365 Platform Expertise : Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of the O365 platform while Providing guidance on best practices for O365 implementation.

  • Collaboration and Communication : Architect solutions for collaboration, communication, and document management using tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online.

  • Security and Compliance : Knowledge of security best practices for O365, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and data loss prevention.

  • Migration Planning : Be familiar with migration strategies for moving on-premises solutions to the O365 cloud.

  • Integration with Third-Party Solutions : Integrate O365 with other third-party applications and services while ensuring seamless interoperability between existing O365 and new systems or applications.

  • Governance and Best Practices : Establish/follow governance policies and best practices for O365 usage and provide guidance on user training and adoption.

  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Be familiar with monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of O365 services.

  • Incident Escalation : Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to O365 services, while mentoring and training support engineers.

  • Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Documentation and Training : Create and maintain documentation for O365 architecture and configurations and Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users.

  • Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about updates and enhancements to O365 services and recommend and implement improvements to enhance the overall O365 environment.

  • Root Cause Analysis : Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.

  • Education

  • Four years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses

  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert certification or equivalent experience

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 7 Plus Years experience

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Office 365 Solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting.

  • Skills in planning and executing O365 migration projects, including managing timelines and resources.

  • Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

  • Ability to work with vendors to implement and support O365 solutions.

  • Ability to lead and guide teams through O365 implementation projects.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Capability to deliver effective training sessions to IT staff and end-users.

Supervisory Responsibility :

This position does not have employee direct reports but does serve as a "lead" role for others doing similar work.

Work Environment :

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

  • Office environment and remote work is possible as agreed with your manager.

  • Strong team collaboration, including training across verticals in a modern, open atmosphere.
