Position : Postgres DBA

Location : Manapakkam, Chennai, IND-TN

We are looking for a Postgres expert who is able to contribute with: (almost like a Postgres architect with hands-on experience)

• Best practices for Postgres i.e. configuration

• Performance troubleshooting tips & tools like if someone says my query is slow so they start from levels (Server, Database, Query optimization)

• Can he recommend WAL, Log sizing – e.g. 25% of database size, buffer sizing as a rule of thumb.

• Best way to take backups efficiently

• Has handy queries to troubleshoot issues around database blocks, session history
