Cincinnati Bell Sr. Manager of Billing in Remote, United States
Position : Sr. Manager of Billing
Job Purpose :
This position reports to the Controller. Primary responsibilities include assuring the Billing department, including international billings, is operating professionally and efficiently. This involves making strategic and operational changes to allocate workload, monitoring performance, directing the approach, and preparing routine and ad hoc reports; performing and monitoring internal control responsibilities for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; and developing and implementing process and procedural improvements.
Additionally, this person is responsible for providing expertise in handling complex billing arrangements and customer requests.
Essential Functions :
Supervise, prioritize workloads and resolve operational issues - 20% Develop and implement process and procedure improvements - 20% Establish and review reports which monitor billing efforts to identify problem areas and trends - 20% Prepare monthly forecasts for billings - 20% Function as primary contact for collaboration with other work groups - 20%
Education :
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience:
5-7 years' experience in a related role/field
Previous Work Experience :
Direct experience analyzing and managing billing functions
Previous management experience
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
In-depth understanding of impact of billing on other functions within an organization Understanding of Cincinnati Bell process and systems Strong leadership skills Strong process analysis & development skills High ethical standards and code of conduct Demonstrated problem solving and negotiating abilities Detail and goal-oriented Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
