Cincinnati Bell Voice Application Engineer II in Remote, United States
Position : Voice Application Engineer II
Job Purpose :
The Voice Application Engineer II is responsible for delivering UCaaS & CCaaS solutions to business customers.
Essential Functions :
Serves as SME for less experienced team members in similar roles
Project managing the delivery of stand-alone UCaaS, MSTV and CCaaS solutions
Consult, design and implement call flows based on customer requirements
Ordering equipment
Configuring/provisioning services
Scheduling field resources
Coordinating number porting
Turning up/cutting over services
Scheduling customer training
Performing various administrative tasks such as:
Triggering billing for new/changed services
Logging project data
Other duties as assigned
Education :
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses :
CompTIA certification required
Cisco Broadworks certifications preferred
Project management certification (CAPM or PMP) preferred
Relevant Work Experience:
2 to 4 years in related field
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Intermediate understanding of VoIP technologies, carrier circuits, number porting & basic networking
Customer-focused
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to self-motivate and be productive without direct supervision
Excellent computer skills, knowledgeable in MS Office suite
Good problem solving skills
Developing business acumen
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment :
Requires ability to work from home, including a quiet environment and access to adequate internet. Some in-office or customer premises requirements as needed.
